Today is blog action day. The whole point of the day is to get as many bloggers as possible blogging about the same topic. This year’s topic is the environment.

Well, while I may not be the most environmentally conscious person on the planet, today’s post is dedicated to someone who is: recent nobel prize winner, Al Gore. Gore has become the mouthpiece for the environmental movement via projects such as his documentary An Inconvenient Truth. Some feel environmental issues such as global warming is nothing but gloom-and-doom nonsense. Others embrace the message wholeheartedly. And still others, like me, fall somewhere in between. Wherever you stand on the issue, Gore has kept the environment (not necessarily popular topic) in the spotlight, which is a good thing, no matter what side of the fence you sit.
