From October 1st to October 24th, parents can upload their favorite photo of their child for a chance to be featured in an upcoming babyGap or GapKids campaign.

Once all contest entries are received, judges will narrow down the contestants to twenty finalists. These twenty finalists will be flown to San Francisco to participate in a Gap photo shoot and will receive prize packages, including special gifts from babyGap, GapKids, KODAK Gallery and O, The Oprah Magazine.

On November 20th, the twenty finalists will be announced and voting begins. It will be up to America to place their votes and decide who will be the next babyGap and GapKids models to be featured in a 2008 campaign. The winners will be selected in late December and announced in January.

Auditions will be held July 1 at Earls Court Exhibition Center in London.

Applicants must have identification to prove they are from Britain and are between the ages of 15 and 18.

The program is designed for seasoned Actors or those who have little or no training but need film experience with a broadcast credit. All of the film projects are shot on 35mm film with Directors, Producers and Crew who have been working in the Industry for some time. The project only provides the experience and broadcast credit necessary to obtain a good agent or better future acting roles. The company will provide an acting coach for those who require it.

The program is open to anyone GLOBALLY and carries a price tag of $575.00 CND.

What the “Spiderwick Chronicles” are all about?

When the three Grace children — troubled Jared; his bookish twin, Simon; and their sister, Mallory, a fencing jock — move to the ancient Spiderwick mansion, they are at first none-too-enchanted by the rundown Victorian … until they discover a Brownie, an enchanted creature, living in the walls. They soon find a book — Arthur Spiderwick’s Field Guide to the Fantastical World Around You — that will open their eyes to the invisible, odd, and sometimes dangerous world of dragons and boggarts, phookas and fairies, sprites and goblins that is all around them. When they cross paths with Mulgarath, an ogre, they realize quickly that he will stop at nothing to get his hands on the Field Guide.

Based on the bestselling series of books, “The Spiderwick Chronicles” is directed by Mark Waters (”Mean Girls,” “Freaky Friday”).

Waters said, “We’re opening up the ‘Spiderwick’ casting experience. We really are looking for an unknown pair of kids. The website has all the information you need to make your tape and mail it to us. You never know — you might be just what we’re looking for.”

Starz invites interested parties to log onto starz.com and print an application. Applications will be available through February 21 and selected applicants will be asked to participate in one of four auditions. In March and April a team of industry professionals will judge these applicants during the auditions held in New York, Las Vegas, Orlando and Kansas City, Kan.

Two finalists from each city will be flown to Los Angeles for the final audition in front of a panel of industry veterans.

The grand prize winner will receive a trip to the set of the 2006 Revolution Studios major motion picture and a speaking role in the film. “Looking for Stars” is SEG’s first foray into original serialized short-form programming. The program will begin airing on Starz in spring of 2006. The competition is sponsored by SEG in association with Revolution Studios.
