Building on the success of Columbia&#8217;s partnership with online user generated video portal Grouper, the &#8220;Face of the Fan&#8221; contest will provide at least 250,000 Spider-Man Movie Network members with the chance to become the official online correspondents for the network. The two winners (one male and one female) will be tasked with creating videos that will offer breaking Spider-Man news, information, and special promotions across the Web at least once a week leading up to the highly anticipated release of Spider-Man 3 on May 4, 2007.</p>
<p>Beginning immediately, aspiring Spider-Man 3 webcasters can find everything they need to enter the contest at <a href="http://spiderman.sonypictures.com/faceofthefan">spiderman.sonypictures.com/faceofthefan</a>. At the site, contest entrants can join the movie network, as well as find tools to help them tape, edit and submit their entry. Fans are encouraged to show their true colors in their screen tests. Entrants will be judged on the presentation of a pre-provided script as well as their enthusiasm and credibility, articulation, and ultimately, they will be selected on the quality of their overall submission. The contest is open to any U.S. resident who is at least 18 years-of-age or older unless otherwise indicated in the official rules. Entries must be submitted by February 23, 2007.</p>

The winner of the contest will have their poster prominently displayed at their hometown theater, gets a private screening of <em>Factory Girl</em> for them and 25 of his/her friends, a full-size print of their poster autographed by the cast, which includes Sienna Miller, Guy Pearce and Hayden Christensen, and a promotion for the poster on the film&#8217;s official website, <a href="http://www.factorygirlmovie.net">http://www.factorygirlmovie.net</a>.</p>
<p><em>Factory Girl</em> is a Holly Wiersma production of a L.I.F.T. Productions and The Weinstein Company presentation being theatrically distributed in the U.S. by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (MGM) in limited theaters on December 29th and nationwide in early 2007. Starting July 21, 2006, movie enthusiasts, video gamers and even people looking to score some cash will have an entirely new challenge with Underground Bounty Hunter &#8212; a heart-pumping online game featuring live-action movie-like video scenes. The first episode (10 are planned) has 10 levels and combines the life-like excitement of a full-length feature film with the principles of a problem-solving, action-packed video game. More noteworthy is that unlike typical movies or video games, Underground Bounty Hunter players compete for real prizes &#8212; including $100,000, the possibility of other high-end prizes and a movie role in the next Underground Bounty Hunter episode.</p>
<p>In Underground Bounty Hunter, the player becomes the bounty hunter chasing the most corrupt villains hidden in the underbelly of the crime world, encountering a cast of prostitutes, murderers, drug dealers, mobsters and other illicit characters in order to locate and destroy or capture the villain he&#8217;s pursuing. Each scene offers an action-packed sequence that jeopardizes the bounty hunter&#8217;s life. The player must find clues to help advance him to the next level. If a scene is misinterpreted, and the player enters the incorrect clues, the Underground Bounty Hunter is in danger of being shot, killed or captured. The first player to successfully complete all the levels and capture the wanted criminal receives a real cash prize of $100,000. Additionally, the longer the game proceeds with the villain still at large, the longer the criminal has to accumulate more riches and, since the winning bounty hunter gets to keep the bounty and the criminal&#8217;s loot, the larger the prize pool can potentially get. This potential additional loot may include sports cars, powerboats, plasma televisions or other high-ticket items. Each episode will have its own bounty of cash and prizes, offering players numerous opportunities to win, but only one person is slated to win the movie role at this time.</p>
<p>Players must be at least 18-years old and each opportunity to successfully capture the criminal will cost $25.</p>

<p>For two weeks starting July 11, 2006, American Eagle expects to distribute a million movie tickets in stores as customers try on AE&#8217;s new collection of Back To School jeans. Everyone is also invited to visit <a href="http://www.ae.com">ae.com</a> to enter a national online sweepstakes for a chance to win a lifetime supply of AE jeans and AMC movie tickets.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Universal Pictures today announced a call for entries for its &#8220;Slug it Out!&#8221;: &#8220;Slither&#8221; TV Spot Contest.  Coinciding with the promotional launch of the new genre-bending horror film &#8220;Slither,&#8221; the contest offers one lucky winner a grand prize of $25,000 and the chance to have his or her advertising concept become part of the theatrical campaign for the film.  &#8220;Slither&#8221; oozes into theaters nationwide on March 31, 2006.</p>
<p>Starting today, site visitors to <a href="http://www.slithermovie.net">http://www.slithermovie.net</a> will have 10 days to &#8220;Slug It Out!&#8221; Online users will be given hands-on exposure to the world of theatrical motion picture advertising as they assemble the ultimate TV commercial to promote the film.  With a special &#8220;Slug It Out&#8221; feature available only on the &#8220;Slither&#8221; web site, visitors can take Universal-supplied assets including clips, music cues, sound FX and graphics to build a customized version of a &#8220;Slither&#8221; TV spot.</p>
<p>Adam Fogelson, president of marketing, Universal Pictures notes, &#8220;&#8216;Slither&#8217; is a horror film unlike most, and it has a marketing campaign that reflects that.  This genre really encourages audience participation, and we know the fans are capable of some disgusting, hilarious work.  We&#8217;re here to reward that creativity.&#8221;</p>
<p>Users have two options to design the spot.  The first option is to &#8220;Do It Yourself,&#8221; allowing aspiring filmmakers to download assets and edit using their own editing software.  The second option, &#8220;Flash it Out,&#8221; is available for those users who are not familiar with desktop video editing applications. This feature is a Flash-based timeline editing system that is simple enough for anyone to use.</p>
<p>After submissions have been collected, 25 semi-finalists will be chosen by Universal Pictures based on creative requirements set by the studio.  Of these selections, five will be chosen for the final round by talent from the film. The four runners-up will each receive $1,000 and autographed &#8220;Slither&#8221; memorabilia, while the grand prize winner will receive $25,000 and the chance for the spot to air on television as part of the film&#8217;s advertising campaign. The remaining 20 semi-finalists will receive a Slither prize pack and one of Universal Pictures&#8217; classic horror films on DVD.</p>
<p>Once the entry period has concluded on 3/9, users can go to the &#8220;&#8216;Slither&#8217; Theater&#8221; section of the web site to rate and react to the latest and greatest disgusting submissions from the public.  At the conclusion of the contest, the winner will have his or her creation prominently displayed online.</p>
<p>The winner(s) will be announced the week of 3/27.</p>
