National Treasure BIG Treasure Hunt + Movie Trailer

To celebrate the upcoming release of National Treasure: Book of Secrets, Disney is hosting “The World’s Biggest Treasure Hunt,” a 10-week interactive platform for users to play a variety of online games and find information about the new film. Those who play can qualify to win authentic treasure provided by Odyssey Marine Exploration and are entered into the grand prize drawing for an all-new Mercedes-Benz filled with treasure. Entertainment Tonight plans to announce the winners on the show leading up to the film’s opening day on December 21st.

Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), a billionaire industrialist and inventor, is kidnapped and forced by his captors to design and build a weapon. Secretly, Stark instead creates a mechanized suit of armor and escapes. Returning to the U.S., he discovers a dangerous plot and becomes Iron Man to stop it. Film also stars Terence Howard and Gwenyth Paltrow. Opens May 2, 2008.

I don’t know what’s the big deal behind this movie, but when the trailer of CloverField (2008) was shown before Transformers in movie theaters this past week it managed to generate a lot of buzz considering the movie itself doesn’t open until January 18, 2008. Just what is it all about? Do tell.

I just watched this trailer and I must say that it looks like it could be pretty good - a fairly interesting story and whatnot. Of course, it could be movie trailer manipulation. Anyway, I’m just wondering if it will be released July 27th as scheduled.

An idyllic small town is rocked when Aubrey Fleming (Lindsay Lohan), a bright and promising young woman, is abducted and tortured by a sadistic serial killer. When she manages to escape, the traumatized girl who regains consciousness in the hospital insists that she is not who they think she is and that the real Aubrey Fleming is still in mortal danger.
