Dave Chappelle was hospitalized over the weekend for exhaustion. The 33-year-old comedian checked into an emergency room on Saturday and was released a few hours later.

I guess the only reason this is news is because certain folks are still looking for evidence of Chappelle’s insanity because he is perrhaps most famous for having walked away from a $50 million deal to continue his Comedy Central show in May 2005 and briefly going into hiding in South Africa.

It seems that he has since returned to the standup circuit. In April, he broke the endurance record at the Laugh Factory comedy club in Los Angeles by delivering a more than six-hour-long standup routine.
