Remember Dionne Warwick, Whitney Houston’s aunt.  Well, I remember her from her 80’s period when she delivered such hits as “Love Power,” “That’s What Friends Are For,” and “I Know I’ll Never Love This Way Again.”  Her career actually extends well over several decades, but hey I was a child of the 80’s.  Anyway, a tribute to Dionne Warwick is scheduled for January 26, 2005 at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles. The special, which salutes Warwick’s 45th anniversary in music, will include appearances by Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Olivia Newton-John, Gloria Estefan, Angie Stone, Ashford & Simpson, Yolanda Adams and BeBe Winans. As of now, no TV network deal has been announced.
