Kimberley Locke Readies For Fall Debut

Curb Records has confirmed “Supawoman” as the first single from Kimberley Locke’s sophomore album, “Based On A True Story.” The tune, penned by Locke with her producers Mark Feist & Damon Sharpe, goes to Top 40 and Rhythmic Crossover radio and will be available for downloads at iTunes on July 4, 2006.
“I think it was time for a new anthem for the ladies,” says Locke. “‘Supa’ is about telling your man that it’s okay to be with a strong woman. Sorry, men!” she laughs.
Locke’s album will be released this fall on Curb. Locke took part in an as-yet-untitled MTV reality series this summer also set to air on the network later this fall.
