Let Get the Popcorn Movies Back to the Theatres

While there have been some good movies released this year, I don’t think they have been any real blockbusters. Plus the past couple months have not generated any buzz to the extent to where I’m bustling to hit the theatre. However, I am excited about the future releases of Harry Potter, Narnia, and Aeon Flux in the upcoming weeks. I’m hoping that November is a turnaround because I really do enjoy the whole movie theatre experience.

Anyway, it looks like 2006 will begin with a bang with the release of the sequel to Underworld (2003), Underworld: Evolution (2006) in January.

The continued saga of war between the aristocratic Death Dealers and the barbaric Lycans (werewolves). The film traces the beginnings of the ancient feud between the two tribes as Selene (Kate Beckinsale), the vampire heroine, and Michael (Scott Speedman), the lycan hybrid, try to unlock the secrets of their bloodlines. The tale of action, intrigue and forbidden love takes them into the battle to end all wars as the immortals must finally face their retribution.

You can view a teaser trailer at Yahoo Movies. Plus, I have added a few promotional photos from Evolution (2006):
