Inspired by the worldwide popularity of Dan Brown’s best-selling novel The Da Vinci Code, Sony Classical is releasing a unique new concept album entitled The Da Vinci Project. The creation of Norwegian composer/lyricist/arranger/producer Jan Kisjes, The Da Vinci Project weaves together chant and musical echoes of the Renaissance with contemporary vocals, rhythms and electronic textures — an original sound-world Kisjes began to imagine while reading Brown’s novel. The Da Vinci Project will be released May 2, 2006.
